Ficus Panda Potted Plant
Ficus is an evergreen plant with a single trunk and spreading canopy. Ficus Panda is a species of Fig family which grows very well indoors. The plant is shrub type and is believed to be a good air purifyer at indoor. The plant grows as much as space it get or can easily be trained and prunned. The cuttings can be used for growing more plants in a nutrient media.

Planting & Care
It should be prunned at regular intervals according to shpae and size needed.
Sunlight: Indirect or filtered light should be given for variable leaf color. Bright or direct sunlight should be avoided, as it results in scalding and leaf-loss. The indoor keeping stimulates dark green while the outdoor stimulates more light green color.
Soil: Humus and nutrient rich soil and kept well-drained.
Water: Should be given accroding to the requirement. The moist soil clues a presence of good moisture and hence no watering is required.
In summer the plant should be watered 3-4 times a week.
While in winter, 1-2 times a week watering is required.
Temperature: The plant cannot tolerte low temperature. The optimum temperature 20-25 deg C.
Fertiliser: Slow nutrient releasing fertiliser pellets should be used given once a month.
Uses
The Ficus panda is believed to be a good air purifier.
It can be used as a potted plant which gives some aethetic green look to your home or office. The green leaves retian their color throughout the year.
